Meet the Management
Eduardo Shoval, CEO
Mr. Shoval has been a serial entrepreneur for 25 years; founded and headed 6 high-tech startups with total business creation of hundreds of millions of dollars. He served as CEO at three of the companies - Optibase, Accord Networks (since sold to PolyCom), and LaserComm, Inc. At the other three companies - Big Band Networks, Sirica Inc., and VCON (a spin-off of Optibase) - he served as a member of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Shoval holds B.A. (1974) and M.B.A. (1979) from Tel Aviv University.
Eric Georgatos, President
Mr. Georgatos has over 25 years of strategic, financial, operational and legal experience. He was Senior VP and General Counsel for CIENA Corporation, which in 1996 carried out the highest-valued initial public offering in U.S. history at that time. He served as CFO and later President and COO at LaserComm, and with Mr. Shoval co-founded Sirica in 2005. Mr. Georgatos was also a partner with the law firm of Gray, Cary, Ware and Freidenrich (now part of DLA Piper), where he focused on high-technology industries, as well as active representation of banks and other financial institutions.
Mr. Georgatos holds a B.S.in Business Administration from USC and a J.D. from UCLA.
Avish Jacob Weiner, VP Intellectual Property
Mr. Weiner has a rich history as inventor and developer of various high tech products for the aircraft, cellular, and toy industries. Many of his products have been patented and marketed worldwide.
During is working as AG Pilot, Mr. Weiner developed an aerodynamic element that reduced the use of chemical sprays by 40%. Mr. Weiner has developed and patented various electronic products for companies such as MB, Hasbro, Mattel and Tiger Electronics.
Ran Ne'man, VP Products
Mr. Ne'man has over 14 years of diversified experience in the Telecommunications and the consumer electronics industries. Prior to AcCells, he worked at modu where he managed the consumer electronics product line. Before modu, he was a member of the founding team and software manager at Passave (acquired by PMC-Sierra in 2006).
Mr. Ne'man holds a MBA from the Recanati School of Business at Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in Computer Science and Economics from Tel Aviv University.
Shmulik Ben-Shemen, VP R&D
Mr. Ben-Shemen has over 15 years of experience in the development and implementation of information technologies in the Financial and Telecommunication industries.
Prior to joining Accells, Mr. Ben-Shemen served as VP R&D, VP Professional Services and member of the management team of Cyota, which was acquired by RSA Security (NASDAQ:RSAS).
During this time he developed and implemented Anti Fraud systems for online banking and online credit card payment systems (2000-2008). Previously, he served as a Senior R&D Team Leader at Amdocs (1994-2000) Ltd., a world leader in customer care and billing systems for the telecommunications industry.
Mr. Ben-Shemen holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University
Ronen Shoval, Director of Strategic Marketing
Mr. Shoval has founded and chaired two social NGOs. He has five years of experience in fundraising for organizations he has helped to create and lead.
Mr. Shoval holds a degree in International Relations and Philosophy from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
